Shani's Story

Shani Moore's journey into the world of crochet is deeply rooted in her family history and her innate passion for creativity. From a young age, Shani was captivated by the art of crochet, starting her journey with a crochet hook and yarn at the tender age of 9. This early introduction to the craft set the stage for a lifelong love affair with crocheting.

Shani's skills were honed under the guidance of her grandmother, Jessie, and her mother, June, who passed down their knowledge and expertise through generations. Their patient instruction and encouragement instilled in Shani a deep appreciation for the craft and a commitment to preserving its traditions.

Despite the demands of raising three children and managing her logistics business with her husband in Wiltshire, Shani remained devoted to her passion for crochet. Not a single day passed without her crochet hook and yarn in hand, as she poured her creativity into a diverse array of projects.

In July 2014, Shani and her family made a significant move to Wiltshire, where they embarked on a new business venture together. Alongside her role as a director at Post & Packing Swindon Ltd, based in Havelock Street, Swindon, Shani continued to pursue her creative endeavors, eventually establishing her own business, Creative Crochet by Shani.

Shani's dedication to her craft and her entrepreneurial spirit have not gone unnoticed. She has earned recognition as an Multi award-winning businesswoman, a testament to her hard work, talent, and vision. Through Creative Crochet by Shani, she has delighted customers with her handmade creations, ranging from toys and blankets to charity goods for sleeping babies, animal coats, and bird nests.

Shani's story is one of passion, perseverance, and the power of creativity to enrich both personal and professional pursuits. Her deep-seated love for crochet, instilled by her grandmother and mother, continues to inspire her work and bring joy to those who experience her handmade treasures.
